Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Not Otherwise Specified

This category, as are all other "not otherwise specified" categories, is for people who do not fit neatly into the main categories.  In this case, this diagnosis is assigned to children who have ADHD that is not a combination, and not predominantly AD or HD. Nevertheless, to be placed in this category a child must have prominent symptoms of attention deficit or hyperactivity/impulsivity, without meeting the criteria for "ordinary" ADHD.
